Da Brat ordered to pay $6.4 million for assault on former NFL cheerleader

Da Brat, real name Shawntae Harris, has been ordered to pay an ex NFL cheerleader for the Atlanta Falcons, Shayla Stevens $6.4 million, after she bludgeoned her with a rum bottle in an Atlanta nightclub during Halloween in 2007. The incident left the victim's face scarred permanently. Da Brat served a 3 year prison sentence for the crime, and in addition to that she got 7 years probation and 200 hours of community service.

The jury awarded the former cheerleader the amount to cover her injuries and past/future loss of earning, after finding her responsible for permanent facial scarring, neurological impairment, and severe mental pain.

This is not the first of Da Brat's brush with the law. In 2000 she beat a woman with a gun over VIP seating in a Georgia nightclub, sending her to get six stitches from the hospital. Though she was not tried for this, she agreed to perform 80 hours of community service, serve a year's probation and pay a $1000 fine after a guilty plea to misdemeanor reckless conduct.

Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher engaged

Reports are that Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher are engaged. The two, who first met in 1998 when the co-starred in "The '70s show", having been dating for almost two years. After Ashton's spit from Demi Moore they got back together.

Oscar Pistorius was rivaled in popularity to Usain Bolt and David Rudisha during the 2012 Summer Olympics for being the 1st double leg amputee to participate in the Olympics when he entered in the men's 400 meters and 4 x 400 meters relay races. He won gold medals in the mens 400 meters and in the 4 x 400 meters relay during the 2012 Summer Paralympics, where he broke world records in both events. He also took a silver in the 200 meters race.

Oscar is infamous for the murder of his model girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp, whom he shot at 4 times while she was locked in a bathroom, 3 bullets hitting her and causing her death. He also faces two additional charges of firing a gun in a public space.

Lamar Odom not signing divorce papers

It has been reported that Lamar Odom is refusing to sign the divorce papers which Khloe Kardashian filed in December after allegations he took drugs and cheated on her with a number of women.

Lamar, who has just moved to Spain to play basketball with Laboral Kuxta, is said to be desperate to win Khloe back. 
An insider said "Khloe is desperate for him to finalize the divorce so she can move on. He says he's just too busy but he's still wearing his wedding ring". True, Lamar recently told US Weekly that he wasn't sure if the divorce will go ahead. He said: "I love my wife, she'll always be my wife no matter what. We don't know that the divorce will go through. I hope not. But even if we divorced, she would always be my wife". Friends revealed that Lamar is so sure that by the time he get back to LA from Spain in April everything will be fine and that he will win her back.

Meanwhile, Khloe has been linked to be dating The Game, with whom she has been spotted with several times over the past weeks. Lamar has reportedly told friends that she is just trying to make him jealous, and is hooking up with The Game for revenge.

Reliable sources say Paula Patton felt "utterly disrespected" when Robin virtually simulated sex with Miley the during their live performance at the VMAs. What really pissed Paula off is that the performance was a total surprise. Miley improvised the raunchy part without warning, but Robin played along...and that enraged Paula.
Robin and Paula, who were childhood sweetheart, have split after 9 years of marriage. Since the split Thicke has canceled several tours.

Heroes coming back in 2015

NBC has announced that it will resurrect the hit series in 2015 as a miniseries Heroes Reborn. 
The show went off air nearly 4 years ago, and will make a comeback as a 13 episode standalone miniseries produced by the shows creator Tom Kring.

Piers Morgan's CNN show coming to an end

Piers Morgan's CNN talk show is coming to an end this March. He told the New York Times it had been "a painful period" for the show, which suffered lackluster ratings. CNN's audience had tired of hearing a Briton weigh in on American cultural issues, he said. Most notably his outspoken remarks about gun ownership brought him the most attention in recent months.

Piers, 48, replace veteran host Larry King in 2011 after retiring, with Oprah Winfrey his first guest in the talk show Tonight. Mr. Morgan says he is in discussions about future projects at CNN, though CNN have not yet mentioned any deals coming after Piers Morgan Live.

Prior to his move into TV, Piers was editor at the Daily Mirror newspaper where he was the editor and was sacked in 2004 after the paper published faked photos of British troops abusing Iraqi prisoners. He went on to become a judge on Britain's Got Talent and America's Got Talent before joining CNN. He is also a former winner of The Celebrity Apprentice (Season 7)

He is being treated at Grenoble University Hospital, where he remains in stable condition after undergoing two operations to remove haematomas and relieve pressure on his brain caused by swelling.

Sony's 'World's Fastest Autofocus Camera'

With Sony getting out of the PC and TV business (sold its PC business under the VAIO brand name, and by July sell its TV business) which have been making losses, the company claims that imaging, game and mobile are the three core business that will drive the company's growth.

The company says it has the world's fastest autofocus camera. The Sony Alpha 6000 captures still images up to 24.3 megapixels and can snap 11 shots per second in continuous shooting mode. It is also equipped with wi-fi for easy photo sharing with other devices, and if your mobile device has NFC pairing, its as easy as tapping. It weighs 340 grams and without a lens is 1.8 inches thick. It will be available in March for $799 as a kit with a standard lens.
